Jerry "Chris" Christopher Boyd

Jerry Christopher Boyd, the son of Peggy Sue White and Jerry Franklin Boyd, passed away on August 19^th, 2022.  Christopher, or “Ozzy”, as he was known to his classmates at Curry High school and other friends, was an employee of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Christopher was born in Walker County on February 1^st, 1967 and died at his apartment in Birmingham. He was 55 years old.

He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, his brother Keith Ivey and his family, and his maternal uncles Kenneth White and David White and their families. He will be missed by many people who knew him as a relative, a friend and a loved one.

Funeral services were held at his graveside at Oak Hill Cemetery in Jasper on August 27^th, 2022 at 2 p.m. He is interred near his grandparents, James White Jr., and Carnell White.
