Elizabeth Ann Kirkland

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Hice Prince Kirkland, 72, of Lebanon, Kentucky (formerly of Jasper), passed away on March 7 2023, at her residence.

Ann spent  many years teaching school, she began her career in 1971 at T.R. Simmons, and she taught there until 1982.  She loved teaching and she loved all of her students and the faculty at T.R. Simmons.

Ann was preceded in death by her first husband Shelton Prince; father Johnnie Hice; mother Florence Lollar Hice; brother James “Jim” Hice; and brother-in-law Randy Tucker.

Survivors include her husband Larry Kirkland; sister, Miriam Tucker; nephew Will Tucker; niece Lauren Williams & her husband Adam; great niece Savannah Tucker; great nephew Matthew Williams; and a host of beloved family and friends.

Services: A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday April 15, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM in the Sam Hood Memorial Chapel of Freeman-Hood Funeral Services.
