Jason Scott Posten

Mr. Jason Scott Posten, 42, of Cordova, passed away on Wednesday May 10, 2023, at Walker Baptist Medical Center.

Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents Kenneth Posten and Clarence & Ruby Hunter.

He is survived his daughters Madison Dawn Posten and Morgan Elizabeth Posten; son Jerry Mason Scott Posten; mother Faye Posten; father Jerry Wayne Posten; sister Becky Holt; brothers Jimmy Posten and Jeremy Posten; grandmother Raenell Posten; grandchildren Waylon Alan Scott Sibley, Rylee Breann Sibley, and Dallas Wintermyer; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pall Bearers will be Jimmy Posten, Kenney Posten, Tyler Holt, Justin Holt, Micah Wintermyer, and AJ Sibley.

Services: Visitation will be held Friday May 12, 2023, at 12:00 PM in the Sam Hood Memorial Chapel of Freeman Hood Funeral Services, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM.  Burial will be at Mount Pisgah in Cordova, AL.  Chris Freeman will officiate.
