Lesa Arlene "Bell" Thomas

Ms. Lesa Arlene “Bell” Thomas, 56, of Empire, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital.  Freeman-Hood Funeral Services has been entrusted with her care.

Ms. Thomas is preceded in death by her father Gurson Phillips, Jr.; mother Jo Ann Phillips; and brother-in-law Buster Harris.

She is survived by her daughters Cassey Kelley & Katrina Kelley; son Anthony Harris; sisters Tresa Harbin (Gary), Donna Phillips, and Amy Fields (Jeff); brothers Brian Phillips, (Dana), Carl Phillips (Shannon), and Danny “Bo” Phillips ( Dezzy); and 7 grandchildren.

Services: Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Faith Worship Center in Sumiton, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM.  Burial will be at Phillips Chapel.  Herman Osborne will officiate.
